Schedule: Full-time 36 hrs/week. We have day, night, and variable shifts available.

Acute Neurosurgery and ENT Care unit Description:
The Acute Neurosurgery and ENT Care unit is a 27-bed unit comprised of post-operative surgical patients.
Join our collaborative Neurosurgery and ENT team, where you'll care for patients with a wide range of complex medical and surgical conditions, including:
- Post-operative brain and spine surgeries
- Neuro and spinal trauma
- Stroke
- Head and neck malignancies, infections, and reconstructive surgeries involving the head, mouth, tongue, jaw, thyroid, and oropharynx

Intermediate Neurosciences and ENT Unit Description
Experienced Nurses needed for the new Intermediate Neurosciences and Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery (ENT) Unit at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill, NC.
This is a 36 hour/week position Day Shift position, with weekend rotation, with flexible self-scheduling and is eligible for an extensive benefit package. This position qualifies for incentives to eligible applicants. This new unit opened July 2026.
Our Intermediate Neurosciences & ENT Unit (INEU) team consists of professionals who approach their work with positivity, compassion, and a strong sense of teamwork. Our unit has 18 beds available to serve the varying needs of our patient population, including 4 beds designed for Epilepsy monitoring. Our unit cares for patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, brain tumors, epilepsy, spine injury, neuromuscular illness, neurodegenerative illness, neurotrauma, and central nervous system infections. Our ENT patients are predominately present with head and neck malignancies and require a variety of surgical interventions involving the head, mouth, tongue, jaw, thyroid, and oropharynx. Our physician teams are nationally recognized as innovators in Neuro Care and Head and Neck Surgical Oncology.
